Activity 1.1.3: Monitoring activity
The next sampling for the purpose of monitoring two types of crayfish in the three water bodies Lake Ohrid, Lake Prespa Great as well as in the river Qarrishte in the Shebenik area was carried out during the month of March, 2024. The monitoring process was assisted by the student MSc. Armando Mezini as well as local fishermen in the respective lakes. From monitoring with the technique of baited traps in the field, the presence of species continues to be established in the areas studied.
Kampionimi i radhes me qëllim monitorimin e dy llojeve të crayfish në tre trupat ujore Liqeni i Ohrit, liqeni i Prespës së Madhe si dhe në lumin e Qarrishtës në zonën e Shebenikut u realizua gjatë muajit Mars, 2024. Procesi i monitorimit u asistua nga ana e studentit të MSc. Armando Mezini si dhe e peshkatarëve lokale në liqenet përkatëse. Nga monitorimi me teknikën e kurtheve me karrem në terren vazhdon të konstatohet prezenca e llojeve në zonat e marra në studim.
