The organization “Biologists of Albania” successfully completed the study project focusing on Monitoring of two species of freshwater crayfish ‘Astacus astacus’ and ‘Austropotamobius torrentium’ in the lakes of Prespa, Ohrid and in the rivers of the Shebenik National Park , supported by the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund, in the seminar held in Pogradec, with the participation of AdZM Korçë and Librazhd as well as other local actors who contributed and are interested in the conducted study.
In July of this year, thanks to the project, the “Crayfish Monitoring Manual” was drawn up, which is available to AdZM specialists for the continuation of studies aimed at protecting crayfish.
Completion of the studies within this project resulted in progressive monitoring of crayfish populations in the freshwaters of Lake Prespa and Ohrid.
Shoqata “Biologët e Shqipërisë”, përmbylli me sukses projektin studimor me në fokus, “Monitorimi i dy llojeve të karavidheve të ujërave të ëmbla ‘Astacus astacus’ dhe ‘Austropotamobius torrentium’ në liqenet e Prespës, Ohrit si dhe në lumenjtë e Parkut Kombëtar Shebenik.”, mbështetur nga Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund në seminarin e zhvilluar në Pogradec, me pjesëmarrje të AdZM Korçë dhe Librazhd si dhe aktorëve të tjerë lokalë të cilët kontribuan dhe janë të interesuar rreth studimit të kryer.
Në muajin Korrik të këtij viti falë projektit, është hartuar “Manuali i monitorimit të karavidheve”, i cili është në dispozicion të specialistëve të AdZM-ve për vijimin e studimeve me qëllim mbrojtjen e karavidheve.
Përfundimi i studimeve në kuadër të këtij projekti faktoi në mënyrë progresive monitorimin e popullatave të karavidhes në ujërat e ëmbla të Liqenit të Prespës dhe Ohrit.
